Hi, I’m Adriana :)
When my dad gave me my first SLR, taking photos was about capturing all of life’s greatest moments (read: high school theatre, choir, and orchestra shenanigans), and, of course, intrusively taking candids of everyone around me. We rallied around those photos and memories, and that alone was priceless and fulfilling.
I attended Oklahoma City University for Musical Theatre & Acting, but ended up with a BS in Cell and Molecular Biology. My freshman year I took some portraits for fun, and soon peers and artists were asking me to take their headshots...I had never before, but they trusted me for some strange strange reason. I was lucky. They unknowingly gave me a priceless gift: the space to learn.
After 20 years studying performing arts, I'm fortunate to have developed an understanding of not only what photos turn heads in the audition room, but how to tell a story. And my favorite thing about photographing people is that everyone is a unique and sensational work of art. How lucky am I to get to help tell THAT story?? Let’s tell yours.
